At the age of 49, I was reeling from a bitter divorce, and I was completely out of shape, carrying 65 extra pounds of body fat and pushing a 39″ waist size. I was angry, depressed, and sad, and I felt like less than a man. I looked at pictures of myself and couldn’t believe I had let myself get so far out of shape and that I looked the way I did.

It was time to make a change in my life and to do what I needed to do to claim my life back. I made the monumental decision to get not only back in shape but to be in the best shape of my life ever and to reclaim my youthful spirit for life that I had lost. 1 year, 4 months, and 14 days later, I did it. I lost 60 lbs, measured a 30″ waist, and dropped to 7% body fat.

It was at that point that I decided I not only had a deep passion for exercise and healthy eating habits but that I wanted to give back everything that I had received during my fitness journey and to help others transform themselves. So at the age of 51 years old I became a personal trainer. What to expect when you train with me.
